Low Power
This game was built for a mini game jam, around the "low power" theme
It's a tower defense, the evil forces of something something hate electricity something something so you need to defend your castle.
There are two currencies:
- building materials (aka minerals, rocks)
- electricity (aka power / energy)
ELECTRICITY
Power is produced by solar panels on each frame.
Towers use power to perform their action as stated on the purchase button (ehm), so every bolt the tower shoots costs 15 power, every time the mineral extractor digs rocks it costs 5 power.
Produced power that doesn't get used will be stored in batteries.
Solar panels don't produce energy at night.
Towers can't operate if not enough power is produced in a given frame and not enough power is stored in batteries to supplement it.
ROCKS
All rocks are the same, build the mining tower thingy on top of them.
BUILDING PLACEMENT
Right click to undo buying something you didn't want.
- Nothing can be placed too close to the road.
- Solar panels can't be placed behind trees.
- Rock crushers need to placed on top of rocks.
- Zapping towers and batteries don't care.
HOW NOT TO LOSE IMMEDIATELYDon't spend all your starting rocks without building a solar panel and a mineral extractor. You now start with one of each.
HOW TO WIN
Keep the game running after you lose, you'll win eventually because the game over screen doesn't stop the game from running in the background I think.

Prepare for the night. Develop industry first.
HOW TO WIN EASILY
Use hotkeys (1-4) to build instead of clicking, the game was balanced before hotkeys were introduced and a lot of time was wasted moving the mouse around.
